IFS is growing in Canada. With several existing certifications and a focus on the Canadian market, IFS is positioned to support Canadian retailers and food suppliers with their food safety and quality needs.

IFS is the only GFSI-benchmarked food safety standard with a French connection and benefit for the Québec Province. Available to the suppliers and retailers of Québec is the ability to communicate directly with the IFS Office in Paris. Contact the IFS Paris office at: ifs-paris@ifs-certification.com.

All major retail chains requesting and accepting GFSI scheme certification accept the IFS Standard - including Loblaw.

South/Latin America
IFS is also present in South/Latin America with a satellite office in Dourados, Brazil. The IFS staff in Brazil speaks Brazilian-Portuguese, English, and German and is able to facilitate the process of a supplier beginning certification, and for certification bodies who want to join IFS is Brazil.
